What Are Families Saying?
“I am happy that I was able to receive the Welcome Baby Program because I received lots of help and support during the time I was homeless. My Parent Coach supported me by providing information and referrals. The Welcome Baby Program also helped and supported me with breastfeeding and my baby’s development. If I [were] to have another baby, without any doubt, I [would] participate in the program again.”
“The Welcome Baby program has helped me a lot, starting with my pregnancy. My baby was born with Down syndrome. My Parent Coach has been able to provide me with guidance and support to access and navigate public services that will benefit my daughter in her development with Down syndrome.”
“If you need something, they’re there to help you. You could call and ask questions at any time — that’s what I liked. During my nurse visit, she weighed the baby for me and checked him to make sure everything was OK. Being in Welcome Baby was a refresher for me, even though this was my fourth child.”
